“How could anyone sell baby parts?”
I’ve been hearing this question and questions like it a lot lately. So I went to the scriptures to see God’s thoughts and this what I learned.
The people who work at Planned Parenthood don’t know how truly valuable they are. They do not know that they were created in the image of God. They have never heard or experienced God’s love for themselves. They have no idea that God sees them as worth the blood of Jesus or that God Himself desires to be known by them and to know them. They don’t value other human life because they don’t know their own value.
This explanation is really not new. The enemy has been deceiving God’s creation from the beginning, trying to keep humanity from knowing its value. It’s a battle that has been fought from the beginning of time, the battle of good versus evil.
Killing babies and selling their body parts is not God’s plan for His children. It is pure deception from the evil one. As believers in the love of God and Jesus Christ we have an obligation to take a stand. We have to make it known that the babies are valuable, their mothers are valuable, and yes, even the men and women who work in the abortion clinics are valuable. Each has infinite potential and is loved by the Creator.
Most of us have been encouraged at some point to “be the hands and feet of Jesus.” Often this means furthering God’s kingdom in natural ways by helping someone in need, donating money, or the like. Sometimes we want to get involved, but it just seems there are no resources available. Every Christian, no matter how busy their schedule or tight their budget, still has a critical role to play. We are natural and spiritual beings, created in the image of our God. We can use our voice. Scripture tells us “The tongue has the power of life and death.” It is our privilege to speak the truth and to pray knowing that our words are backed by heaven and truly have power. With every natural action and every spiritual word of life from our lips we move God’s Kingdom forward so that all creation will know it is valuable, unique, precious, and worth dying for.
At Informed Choices this is exactly how we are working to defund Planned Parenthood. Every day we work hard to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we meet the needs of our clients. At the same time, we use our words to pray for and bless our clients and future clients.
I truly believe it will take sacrifice to see the end of Planned Parenthood. Just like He laid down His life, we need to lay down ours—our time, our treasure, and our words. We have to meet the needs of men and women, so they know beyond a shadow of doubt how valuable they are in the eyes of God. If a woman sees herself as valuable, she won’t take the valuable life of her child.
At Informed Choices we save lives by informing people of their value in the eyes of God. Every time an abortion-determined women walks into an Informed Choices Clinic, has her needs met, sees her baby on the ultrasound, and chooses life, she walks out the door Pro-Life. She walks out the door Pro-Love.
We are in direct competition with Planned Parenthood for the hearts of Iowans. When we win those hearts lives are saved, Jesus is glorified, and we keep money out of the pockets of Planned Parenthood. When Planned Parenthood wins lives are lost, evil is glorified…and the hearts are sold.
I truly believe that now is the time for Planned Parenthood to fall. They have been instigators in devaluing life in our culture for decades and have become giants in a life-stealing industry. You know the saying, “the bigger they are, the harder they fall.” I believe they will fall and fall hard.
It’s not enough for Planned Parenthood to fall. Something good needs to take its place. If Planned Parenthood is not replaced with excellent Christ-based medical care something worse will take its place (see Luke 11:24-26).
Informed Choices is preparing to take the place of all the Planned Parenthood Clinics in the state of Iowa. We are the only AAAHC accredited pregnancy and STD testing medical group in Iowa. Planned Parenthood isn’t even third-party accredited. We have a proven linear service and satellite-clinic model that has brought value to men, women, and their children and has saved over a 1,000 lives across the state of Iowa in just a few short years. We have licensed medical staff ready to take on the challenge to provide evidence-based accurate medical information and care to men and women in crisis.
We have a statewide vision we affectionately call the “20/20 Vision.” We want to add one new brick-and-mortar clinic and one new mobile clinic each year for the next five years. This strategy will cover the state with Informed Choices Clinics so that no woman in the state will have to go without the support, love, and quality medical care she needs during her pregnancy.
We need your help to make this vision a reality. Because of the videos exposing Planned Parenthood, we may need to move faster than planned to cover the state. We can move only as fast as the financial backing of our donors allows.
Help us stop the lies the enemy is telling through Planned Parenthood. Support our 20/20 Vision with all of your resources (time, money, words) and together this vision will become a reality. We can replace the horrors of abortion in our state with the joy of LIFE!!!
