Merry Christmas Everyone!
In your Christmas card this year I wrote asking you to consider a year-end gift to help us push forward into 2016. I’m sure you noticed the yellow card that I added to your Christmas card at the last minute telling about a special opportunity to have your gift matched by a generous family in eastern Iowa.
If you have already sent in your gift, thank you! If not, I urge you to respond as soon as possible. We need your help very soon. Your gift must be post-marked by December 31 to make sure it is tax deductible in 2015.
As you know, we are stepping out in faith to expand our efforts across Iowa with a new clinic in Burlington and our mobile unit “Charlie.” At the banquet this year, I told you about our 20/20 vision to add a new clinic and new mobile unit each year for the next five years. Our desire is that every woman in Iowa has the opportunity to see an ultrasound image of her baby, have all of her questions answered, needs met and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is this vision that inspired a family from eastern Iowa to approach us about matching the first $50,000 your 2015 year-end gift with a check for $25,000. Although they have requested to remain anonymous, I can tell you that they have experienced first-hand the joy of loving children that have been unplanned. In fact, they wouldn’t have a family if it were not for mothers choosing LIFE instead of abortion.
I know many of you have asked how you can help Informed Choices during these upcoming pivotal years of growth. Right now, as I write this, we need funds. Moving forward into a season of multiplication has had a direct impact on our reserve funds as we head into 2016. Will you help by sending in a special year-end gift?
You know that over the past 6 years we have seen more than 1000 babies saved from abortion. One year from now, God willing and with your help, we hope to have 7 clinics open, serving the men and women of Iowa. This means we will be positioned to save 900 babies in 2017 alone, which is almost double the total number of lives we celebrated together in October. More men and women are asking for our help than ever before in our 6 year history. A special year-end gift will help us continue to respond to the overwhelming need, reaching more men and women with the love of Christ and the truth of LIFE.
Because we do not accept any government funds, we are entirely reliant on the generosity of supporters like you for our daily operation and expansion. Your gift is vital!
